Responded to service call for water leakage at condensate drain connection on recently installed furnace system. Upon inspection, identified improper connection between new condensate pipe and existing drainage pipe secured with rubber sleeve coupling and hose clamp, which had failed and was causing water to leak onto the floor. Documented the faulty connection point showing deteriorated coupling between white PVC condensate line and existing tan drainage pipe. Repaired or replaced the defective rubber coupling to restore proper drainage and prevent further water damage.
